Dr. Sanket Srinivasa, a pioneer in robotic liver and pancreas surgery in New Zealand, was honoured with an invitation to share his expertise at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) 92nd Annual Scientific Congress in Christchurch, New Zealand. This prestigious event, which took place from May 6th to May 10th, 2024, was held at the Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre.

As part of the congress, Dr. Srinivasa conducted a masterclass titled “HPB Robot,” focusing on the implementation of robotic surgery in hepatobiliary (HPB) procedures. This masterclass provided attendees with an evidence-based approach to initiating a robotic surgery program, drawing upon Dr. Srinivasa’s extensive experience and expertise in the field. Participants gained valuable insights into the benefits, challenges, and best practices associated with incorporating robotic technology into HPB surgery.
